thairu chatni

whenever we have grill from nearby tikka restaurant , i always wonder how they make this delicious chatni with grill and thin chapathi. it's sooo tasty that u never stop going to have grill from there.then one day for a lunch party at our friends house my friend NJ who is a good kitchen maker made the same and i wanted to try it the next day itself.

it came out so well that whoever had it asked for more.here goes the recipe for it.very simple and delicious.

ingredients:
  1. 1 cup curd(yoghurt)
  2. 1 hand full of malliyila(coriander leaves)
  3. 1 hand full of puthinayila (mint leaves)
  4. salt for taste as required
  5. water as required to reduce the thickness of curd
preparation method:
grind all the ingredients from 1 to 4 together in a mixer. add water as required and mix well. pour it in a bowl and serve it with biriyani/naichor ( ghee rice). for those who like to use green chilli they can add it before serving (cut green chilli into long pieces and add in the chatni, so that u don't bite the chilli).
